We were able to create the truth table, because we knew there was three sensors and LED's. With this we can create and truth table for three inputs and two outputs. As we went through the truth table we knew the buzzer and LED would go off together when we want the machine to alert us. We also knew that two pieces of paper could not go through the copier behind each other. Meaning we didn't want two sensors to be blocked right next to each other, because it would cause a jam. With this we got the information for the un-simplified expression which for us was: NOT 1 23 + 12 NOT 3+ 123. This shows us that our truth table was correct and that we are on the right track. We then used Boolean algebra and K-mapping to check the answer. In our Boolean Algebra We undistributed of the expression then condensed it some more. After that we used our regular Boolean theroms and then consensus therom.
