We chose this design, because it best fits the criteria and constraints given to us and the ones we also set for ourselves. We thought it would be a design worth being used and was a better design overall. It gave us the ability to work with it and also the capability of making the protective case the best. This was followed by the decision of what would be the best design to fit in a pocket smoothly and the agility to not get caught on many objects.

Construct And Test
My testing concluded in the case in the right measurements worked and was able to fit in. In those areas it worked but the functioning of the case still needs a little work to get where it needs to be. Such as the hook doesn't fasten properly and pokes out too much and the width between the hinges, although measured correctly still too much gaping for it to stay together. So from here we know where to go to fix it fully to its full potential. As from where it left off it took approximately an hour and 4 mins to completely 3d print the bottom. (my partner as the top so all I have is the bottom)

Now I had some difficulties with the process of correct measurements being that we got them wrong the first go around and created it way to small. In the end it was able to stay under the criteria constraints that we made for the measurements in still trying to make it work. As it came down to it, it was able to stay under all the given constraints and criteria. Now though there is still needed some kinks but our development is worth pursuing, because it is still under everything need and is basic for people to understand the concept and for them to easily use. Now for the next steps we would improve the hinges and the hook so it works properly. Then another idea is to make it slimmer for the pocket yet still fit everything it needs to fit. A criteria that we could add is that instead of a hook to attach to the bottom we have a latch that hooks onto the top for a better secure.
Present Solution
We produced each our own model, mine being the bottom of the protective case, to hold the earbuds in it, there where to be no bigger then the dimensions given in the design brief, and we use this model for the main function for the reason we are building this. The bottom is for the ability to hold the earbuds which is the case we are building for this specific reason. Th top model is for the purpose of securing it and is also apart of the limitations for being slim enough and needing a hook for fastening. This model is need for the purpose needed to secure the earbuds in the case. We did achieve some goals but not all, we achieved the one where wanted to make it work but we fell short of making fully function as we wanted. My previous learning help me see through all that was needed to see through it helped me prevail and work around through the difficulties.
